RMS operations, capabilities, services and product details are outlined in the RMS CONTROLLED PRODUCT MANUAL. This manual is in two parts with each part comprising sub-sections as identified below.
In broad terms:
Part A
provides an overview of the operations, capabilities and services provided by RMS and a summary of the product types available.
Part B
provides data on the standard range of RMS
product types and is divided into 12 sections on
the basis of product function. Each technical bulletin
includes a listing of features, general operating
description, application notes, technical specifications
and selection options. The publication name, issue
date and number of pages is printed in the lower
right corner of each page. Part A3 provides a summary
of data sheet issue dates and manual issue level.
Selecting any of the links in the following
tables will download the associated handbook
PDF file for that product. Each PDF contains
general or datasheet information from the RMS
CONTROLLED PRODUCT MANUAL. In
order to read the PDF files you will need Adobe

Product
Listing by RMS Type Number
For
a specific model a type number is allocated which
comprises a general classification number followed
by a K number. This type number precisely describes
a particular product comprising a group of attributes.
- Enclosure style Auxiliary voltage Output relay configuration
- Sensing range
This is a proven system which provides a traceable means
to ensure customers obtain the same specification product
for future orders even when the original relay may have
been specially built only for them.
Customer Generated Ordering Codes
Each
data sheet includes a section titled Ordering Information, which provides
the details required for a customer to generate a unique product Ordering
Code. This code should be quoted when seeking price quotations & when
placing orders. The front label of the product is designated with the RMS
Type Number code as well as the customer generated Ordering Code. Invoices & delivery
dockets are also clearly marked with the Ordering Code in the product description
field to allow customers to easily check that they have received the correct
item against their order. A cross reference between the RMS Type Number & Customer
Ordering Code can be found on our CD ROM & web site.
